Each night when I have closed my eyes
My thoughts fly through the moonlit skies
And though you are beyond my sight
I whisper cross the void “Good Night”
And I miss you
And during times when we’re apart
With miles between our beating hearts
I think about you all the time
I always have you on my mind

But I know that you miss me too

Awesome :) It would make a beautiful song
Wow, that was really nice. Funny, also, because I write and I had an "And I Miss You" that was structured almost identically (that I wrote about my dog). Beautiful, made me cry.
Gives the feeling of being special to that someone special.
