A Letter Across the Miles

The minute I opened my eyes this morning
The first thought on my mind was you
I laid there for a long while thinking
How I long to be with you

I thought of how beautiful it'd be
To welcome the morning sun in your arms
To look to my side and see
The sunshine of your smile

To extent my hand and reach for yours
To endlessly hold and caress
But instead I looked and found
The same old empty space

I closed my eyes and dried
The tears running down my cheeks
For it's the description of my loneliness
I see each time before me

It's the grief that my life lives
Knowing you are there
It's the secret that my heart extent
That I can not seem to bare

About a month more to go,
Is all what you say..
I'l sit here and wait,
For that glorious day!

A Close Distance

I know two people with two separate lives,
Two minds living in two different worlds.
Two worlds that are felt, that are seen in the eyes,
In the eyes of one boy and one girl.

Two worlds. Two people with two hearts.
They know their worlds are apart.
Two worlds with one wish under the sun,
One wish that two worlds will be one.

Two worlds. Two souls with one destiny.
Two loves that were meant to be.
Two paths intertwined into one road.
Someday, they’ll have each other to hold.

If you look close, I think you’ll find
That those two worlds are yours and mine.
And even though we’re worlds apart,
Your whole world is in my heart.
